Short version (shown in the app)
REMS is a decision-support tool based on ingredient science. It does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition, and it does not replace advice from a dermatologist, doctor or pharmacist.
Full version
REMS is not medical advice. Routines, product scores, analyses and explanations in REMS are general cosmetic information. They are generated automatically from what you tell us and from published ingredient information. They are not a diagnosis, a treatment plan or a prescription, and REMS is not a medical device.
Talk to a professional before starting a routine if you: - have a skin condition that has been diagnosed or is being treated (for example eczema, psoriasis, rosacea or severe acne); - are pregnant, trying to become pregnant or breastfeeding; - are taking prescription medication, including topical treatments or isotretinoin.
Stop and seek help. Stop using a product and contact a health professional if you have a reaction that is severe, spreading or doesn't go away: lasting burning, swelling, blistering or a rash. If your face, lips, tongue or throat swell, or you have trouble breathing, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately.
Patch test. Try every new product on a small area of skin for a few days before using it on your face.
Information may be incomplete. Ingredient lists come from retailers and manufacturers. They can change, contain errors, or differ between countries and batches. Always read the product's own label and warnings. Our safety filters (for example during pregnancy, or after a reaction you have logged) rely on the information you give us being complete and accurate.
Your results will vary. Skin responds differently from person to person. REMS does not promise any result.
Other users. Impressions and comments shared by other users are their personal experience, not advice from REMS.
